Dewayne Scroggins, 49, died July 18 at Texoma Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison, Texas.
Mr. Scroggins was born June 19, 1951, in Norman to Weldon Ewing and Billie Peachee Scroggins. He attended Norman Public Schools and was a construction contractor.
Survivors include: his father of Possboro, Texas, and mother of Norman; one son, Kyle Scroggins of Bonham, Texas; one daughter, Emerald Rose Scroggins of Norman; two brothers, Ed Scroggins of Norman and Billy Don Scroggins of Carbondale, Colo.; one sister, Marilyn McClanahan of Austin, Texas; one grandson, Garbriel Scroggins of Norman.
